Rostock is a hanseatic city an der Baltic Sea. It is located in the country part Mecklenburg in the country Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. With 208.886 inhabitants, it is the most populous city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and one of the four regional centers in the state. The city of Rostock is called Hanseatic and university city.
