Due to the maximum take-off weight for the helicopter and a seat restriction of 130kg by the manufacturer, the following restrictions apply depending on the ticket:
  • Single tickets: max. 100kg per person
  • Two tickets: max. 130kg for one person, both together max. 200kg
  • 2 VIP ticket: max. 130kg per person
  • 3 VIP ticket: max. 130kg per person, all 3 together max. 260kg
  • Heli self-flying: max. 110kg for self-flying

Vilshofen on the Danube lies at the confluences of the tributaries Vils, Pfudrach and Wolfach, south of the Bavarian Forest, a good 20 kilometers upstream from Passau. Because of these inflows into the Danube, the city is also called small three rivers citywhile the Passau, the three river city serves as a role model.

In 2002 the construction of the new Danube bridge was completed, as was the newly created Danube promenade Both a park and a walk were created. The resulting mooring for Danube cruise ships brought many tourists to Vilshofen. On November 9, 2004, Vilshofen was renamed "Vilshofen an der Donau". Furthermore, a second landing stage was built in the Danube. In 2006 Vilshofen celebrated the 800th year of its town elevation. There is also the Vilshofen airfield, which was opened in 1956 and has a 1.257 meter long concrete runway.
