Reichelsheim lies between Frankfurt am Main and Pour, right in the heart of the “Golden Wetterau“(About 30 km north of Frankfurt). The river flows east of Reichelsheim Horloff past. Reichelsheim is divided by the Friedberg-Nidda railway line. The new development area and the mixed area Im Mühlahl lie northwest of the railway line. The old center of Reichelsheim lies to the southeast of the railway line; adjacent to it is the old development area (1960s). In the northeast borders directly on the mixed area Im Mühlahl the nature reserve Bingenheim Ried.
