Information about Donaueschingen
Donaueschingen located in the southwest Baden-Wuerttemberg, about 13 km south of the county town of Villingen-Schwenningen. Donaueschingen with approx. 22.000 inhabitants lies between the eastern edge of the south Black Forest and the western one Swabian Alb in the valley of the Brigach, whose confluence with the Breg near Donaueschingen is the actual beginning of the Danube. The middle center is the second largest city of the Black Forest-Baar district.
